We are 3D Lighting Design Ltd

We are a New Zealand-based independent lighting design consultancy with over 30 years of experience across both local and international projects. Our expertise lies in daylighting design and the modelling of natural illuminance within buildings, helping create spaces that are both visually appealing and energy efficient.

We offer specialist daylighting reports to support compliance with Section G7 of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC). Our reports assess daylight illuminance and outside awareness in habitable spaces, ensuring your building meets required standards for natural light and contributes to healthier, more sustainable environments.

Using G7/AS1, G7/AS2, and G7/VM1 pathways, our reports include detailed analysis, practical recommendations, and producer statements to assist architects, builders, and developers in achieving compliance.
